Road Closures

  • Fishtrap Road DetourFishtrap Road between Gee Road and Teel Parkway is closed to all eastbound traffic. Drivers will be detoured via Gee Road, US 380, and Teel Parkway. Fishtrap Road between Windsong Parkway and Gee Road is closed to all westbound traffic. Drivers will be detoured via Windsong Parkway, Acacia Parkway, and Gee Road. A map of this closure is available by clicking on the image to the right.

US 380 Construction

TxDOT will begin construction of overpasses for US 380 at Preston Road and at the Dallas North Tollway later this year. The work is anticipated to be complete in early 2018.  TxDOT and Mario Sinacola & Sons are nearing completion of the first phase of construction.  In January, electricians will activate newly installed temporary signals at the Preston and UH HWY 380 intersection when traffic will then be switched to the new north and south bound ramps.  Weather permitting, crews will switch traffic in late-February to the future east bound frontage road.  Phase ll construction will then commence on the wests bound frontage road.  Estimated completion of project is late-2018.

Town Hall Construction

The Town of Prosper and Pogue Construction entered into an agreement in December 2016 to start construction of a new Town Hall/Multi-Purpose facility.  The three-story, nearly 53,000 SF building will be built on four acres west of Main Street, the former location of Main Street Park.  The facility is scheduled to be complete in Spring of 2018.  In addition to Town Hall, the surrounding infrastructure, Main Street (First to Broadway) and Broadway (McKinley to Coleman), will also get a major facelift, with new pavement, lighting and landscaping.
