SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS AND ATHLETES
Young Innovators: Renewable Energy, 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
This unique camp introduces children to renewable energy while getting hands-on by building solutions for modern-day problems! Activities include everything from building a solar oven to a small wind farm to spark interest in the world of wind, water/hydropower, solar, geothermal and biomass energy. In addition, concepts such as sustainability, natural disasters, cyber invasions, affordability, and increased productivity will be discussed to help children understand the roles they can play in building their future.

The force is strong with this camp! Join us for Jedi training as we build star fighters, land speeders, Yoda, R2-D2, Darth Vader, and more! "Out of this world" crafts and games make each day of camp fun and educational. Learn about our own space program and also build models inspired by Star Wars®.
Brick Battles: June 5 - 9, 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Want to battle as a pokemon or transformer? You choose at this cool new camp! Each day, campers have a choice to build models based on the Transformers movie or Pokemon cartoons. Every day will finish with a battle of the bots to see who built the sturdiest model of the day!
Jurassic Brickland:

Are you ready for the adventure of a lifetime? Come build your own Jurassic Park with motorized/robotic dinosaurs! Campers build a gentle Brontosaurus, ferocious Velociraptor, Terrifying T. Rex, and more. Learn about dinosaurs that lived during the Jurassic Period and other extinct animals that roamed the earth and swam in the seas. Show us your building skills using our specialized kits and model plans.

MISSION TO MARS DRONE TECHNOLOGY
Take to the sky! Come collaborate with a team, enhance problem-solving, and boost critical thinking while building custom drones with out-of-this-world robotic technology! Brainstorm new ideas and use sketching and coding to construct rockets, rocket fuel, and a lunar lander.

STEAM MEDIEVAL TIMES
Time to throw down the gauntlet! Come increase problem-solving, enhance critical thinking, and boost STEAM principles. Campers work with a group and form their feudal courts of lords and ladies. Let’s construct a castle, build bridges, launch cannon balls out of catapults, power windmills, design the tallest tower, and more.

ARTING WITH AMANDA: YOUNG ARTIST
Students will learn and explore with creativity! They will get to experience artmaking with various materials and all projects will be focused on using fine motor skills to develop skill.

AMUSING WEEK
Ah, the thrill of an amusement park…zipping around on racecars, zooming through the loops of a rollercoaster, trying your luck at a floating boat game, and enjoying a cold, refreshing ice cream treat at the end of a hot, sticky day! Can’t get better than that! During this camp, students will divide into competitive theme park teams. They will challenge other teams in specific engineering-related contests with the goal of creating the most fantastic and thrilling theme park experience.
Students will compete against each other as they build and launch their race cars. The will also work in teams to design and build a roller coaster, a boat, and make their own ice cream (which they get to eat!).

HIGH VOLTAGE HIJINKS
Power up! Grasp problem-solving methods, maximize attention to detail, improve communication skills, and experiment with a variety of STEAM principles. Brainstorm with peers to build basic electronics, bots, and circuits. Campers will complete hands-on engineering challenges to create wiggle bots, electromagnets, flashlights, and levitating cars to take home!

MINDS IN MOTION
Code and Control Robo Dozer, 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Build and take home your very own powerful robotic bulldozer and sleek handheld wireless controller! With your own colored manual and the aid of your instructor, you will each assemble your Robo Dozer that consists of over 40 different robotic parts that includes a speaker, circuit board, motors, LED lights, and much more. Come learn the advantages and disadvantages of tracked vehicles, as well as examples of robots with continuous tracks. Use the controller to command your robot to move around in all directions, play sounds, and light up its cab roof lights! The special Code and Control wireless unit enables you to either directly control your Robo Dozer in real time or write and save sequences of commands for the robot to perform at the push of a button. Once completed, you can try a few experiments with your new Code and Control Robo Dozer and compete with your fellow classmates!
Future Engineers, 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
If you like to create and build things, this program is for you! Take home your very own engineering kit! You will build up to 8 working models including a material lift, stationary bike, crane bridge, construction crane, and a windmill! With the aid of your instructor and the easy-to-follow manual, you will learn different scientific principles involving pulleys and mechanics. You will also learn about basic circuits as you construct a Maze Challenge, Flying Disc, Turbo Air, and Alarm System with our STEM Lab kit! As future engineers, the STEM lab will teach you how to comprehend a schematic diagram and interpret the flow of electricity. Campers, design your own diagrams and watch your confidence soar as you transform wires, springs, and plastic parts into fully functioning circuits. Come obtain the necessary skills and experience to take on the technological challenges of the future!

MOVIE MUSIC: A MUSICAL JOURNEY OF HEROES & SHEROES
Join us on this epic piano adventure as we explore music from popular movies like Moana, Encanto, the Avengers and Star Wars! Roll out pianos will be provided for students to learn and play on. This camp is taught by Prosper's Amps & Axes.

CHESS STRATEGIES AND TACTICS
Come join in the fun and learn how to get started playing the lifelong game of chess! During camp, students learn about new chess techniques, important chess history, and notable chess games, all while playing against their peers! Use all the knowledge and skills learned and put them to the test with a tournament at the end of our camp session! This camp includes a small, unrated tournament at the end of the camp session for the campers! All supplies will be provided, including medals!

DISCOVER MAGIC ORANGE WAND COURSE

FLAG FOOTBALL TECH
Flag Football TECH combines a QB skills clinic with a traditional flag football program. Players learn drills and exercises, including passing and receiving, as well as defensive coverage. Come learn plays, routes and become familiar with football formations and basics. Time is allotted at each program for scrimmage! All equipment supplied. Please bring water and a snack.

Both Wednesday evening and Friday morning options are offered for the entire summer! These classes are ideal for new players and intermediate players looking to build skills. Choose between attending once weekly or both classes weekly. This gives you built-in flexibility to attend either day each week and you can even change from week to week!

ADVANCED TENNIS
Designed for players already on school teams or training to make teams. Emphasis is on point situations, strategy and designing tournament plans to meet player goals. Players choose between attending One Day per week or Both Days each week all summer.
*Players should be on school teams or competing in tournaments to sign up for the Advanced Group. Other players will need approval from the Bad Dawg coaching staff by reaching out to Coach David Gray (469-774-4560) for permission to enroll.

Basketball TECH Camp is designed for players of all skills and abilities who are looking for a serious and fun basketball experience. Camp focuses on individual dribbling skills, passing, and shooting, and players also learn team concepts to put all of the pieces together. This is a skill-based program which utilizes drills and games to reinforce skills being taught. A portion of each class will be used for game scrimmages. Please bring water, snack, and gym shoes.

This ultra-popular program includes several versions of Dodgeball. Camp emphasizes fun, teamwork, and exercise. RUNNER2RUNNER – RUN, JUMP, THROW
Develop athletic readiness and skills! Indoor track and field development class includes; cardio, strength, and conditioning, nutrition, teamwork, and games. Great for beginner and experienced athletes.
Strike the ground hard and fast, get your speed up in our sprint workouts. Build your endurance, pacing, with our middle distance workouts. Learn hand and eye coordination while building teamwork from the relay race. Flex your muscles and throw far in the Javelin and discus - two of the oldest Olympics in Ancient Greece.
In depth lessons; development and expansion of the techniques in track and field events. Focus on developing and expanding track and field techniques, learning appropriate nutrition for athletes, teamwork and games. Age group events: sprints, middle distance, relays hurdles (intro), turbojav, discus, standing broad jump. Additional dynamic drills, strength and conditioning work prepare our athletes for each session.

SOCCER SPARKS SKILL CLASSES
It's play time! This camp is based on our "all ball approach' of learning and mastering the fundamentals in the game of soccer. Includes games which are fun to play but also physically challenging. It reinforces the idea that youth sports are a 'developmental zone' with lessons and skills lasting a lifetime. Each day finishes with a scrimmage where children can 'play with skills'.

SOCCER SPARKS SKILLS CLASSES
Soccer Sparks offers age-appropriate soccer classes for kids ages 2 to 12 in a low pressure, high skill learning environment. The Soccer Sparks approach utilizes fun and games so that children develop a passion for soccer without the stress of competitive play. Taught by USSF Nationally Certified coaches, Soccer Sparks' “all-ball” training techniques help kids meet their maximum potential while emphasizing fair play and enjoyment of the sport.
2-3 year old class
Parent and child soccer! By playing fun games, children improve their blossoming balance, coordination, and general motor skills. Aside from learning how to dribble and strike a soccer ball, children and parents also get the opportunity to share those first, unforgettable, goal-scoring adventures together.
3-4 year old class
Kick the ball! The Soccer Sparks 3-4 year old class is designed to help kids develop their large motor skills and get them running, dribbling, and kicking the ball while having lots of fun. The kids learn the very basics of soccer through skill demonstrations and games as they transition from parent to individual participation.
4-5 year old class
Dribble, kick, and pass! The Soccer Sparks 4-5 year old class is designed to spark an early passion for the game in young players. This class will encourage greater retention of foundational soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting in a positive environment. Our curriculum includes fun and energetic games that teach kids about playing within a group.
6-9 year old class
Dazzle with your footwork! The Soccer Sparks 6-9 year old class utilizes the “all ball” approach to foster skill improvement and build player confidence. Players will learn to solidify such skills as dribbling, passing, trapping, receiving, juggling, and accurate shooting in a supportive team environment. This class emphasizes both personal player development and team play.
9-12 year old class
