Prosper Trail (Kroger to Coit) Construction Update (05/20/2019) – Weather permitting, crews will shift westbound traffic to the newly constructed lane on Tuesday, May 28. This traffic switch will provide additional room to subsequently move eastbound traffic and barrier rail, thus facilitating the construction of the final section of pavement adjacent to Deer Run. Once this traffic switch takes place, and until the eastbound lane is complete (estimated 14 days), residents in adjacent neighborhoods will have a “Right In & Right Out” condition for ingress and egress. Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the area.
Project scope: Improve two-lane rural roadway to a four-lane divided suburban arterial from 1000′ east of Preston road to Coit Road as well as the Coit Road and Prosper Trail intersection. Project includes concrete curb and gutter roadway, underground drainage improvements, and conduit for median lighting. The estimated construction end date is Summer 2019.
