Hometown Heroes Application

Hometown Heroes Application

In July of 2014, the Prosper Town Council approved the Hometown Heroes program, which provides a way for the Town to welcome home our Prosper service personnel who are returning home from active duty. The program consists of public recognition at a Town Council meeting for the returning serviceman/woman in attendance, a brief description of his or her service, and the presentation of a framed certificate of achievement from the Mayor and Town Council. If you or a family member are returning home from active duty and would like to be recognized as a Hometown Hero, please complete the application below. Hometown Hero presentations take place at Prosper Town Council meetings, which are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 5:45 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Prosper Town Hall, located at 250 W. First Street in Prosper. Once your application is received, you will be contacted by the Town Secretary’s Office to schedule a date to receive your Hometown Hero recognition.
