Notice to Town of Prosper Utility Customers – Printing Error on Utility Bills
An error was made and a duplicate bill for August was mailed to Town utility customers on 09/18/2019. Please disregard the duplicate statement with the billing date of 08/15/2019 and due date of 09/10/2019. The September bill with a billing date of 09/17/2019 and due date of 10/10/2019 is being mailed to customers on Monday 09/23/2019.
Credit Card and Bank Draft customers will only be drafted for the correct September bill due on the regular payment date of 10/10/2019.
Electronic billing customers did not receive a duplicate statement and have received the correct September bill with the billing date of 09/17/2019 and due date of 10/10/2019.
We sincerely apologize for the printing error. Because of this error the Town will be waiving the penalties/late charges for this billing period. Please contact the Utility Billing office at 972-569-1180 or at our email address firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions regarding your utility bill.
Our department is responsible for customer services related to water, sewer, trash, and recycling. This responsibility includes initiating, transferring and terminating services, billing, adjustment requests, account maintenance, work orders, and collection services.
Customers are billed on a monthly basis. The monthly services on the utility bill are fees associated with council-approved rates for water, sewer, trash, recycling, storm drainage and miscellaneous Public Works charges.
