Mayor’s Fitness Challenge

Welcome to the 2020 MAYOR’S FITNESS CHALLENGE!

Completed tracking sheets are due April 20, 2020. Sheets may be submitted HERE ; mailed to Town of Prosper, Parks and Recreation, PO Box 307, Prosper, TX 75078 (postmarked by April 20, 2020); or scanned and emailed to trevor_helton@prospertx,gov.


The goal is to join fellow Prosper residents and walk or run at least 100 miles or bike at least 500 miles in just over 100 days. Return your completed tracking sheet logging your miles by April 20, 2020, and you will be entered to win a Fitbit! All who complete the Challenge will be recognized at the May 26 Town Council meeting and receive a complimentary t-shirt.

The Prosper Parks and Recreation Department encourages you to get outside and connect with nature at a Prosper park during the Mayor’s Fitness Challenge. More than 22 miles of hike and bike trail await in Prosper parks! Of course, indoor miles count, too. Feel free to set personal goals and keep tracking through April 15!

Here’s how to join the fun! 

Step One:  Prosper residents, join the Mayor’s Fitness Challenge by registering here.

Step Two:   Download the Mayor’s Fitness Challenge tracking sheet or pick one up at Town Hall (250 W. First Street) or the Parks Administration building (409 E. First Street).

Step Three: Log at least 100 miles walking/running or 500 miles biking on the tracking sheet between January 15 and April 15, 2020.

Step FourSubmit the completed tracking sheet by April 20, 2020. Options are to submit the form online or to drop off a hard copy at the Parks and Recreation office or Town Hall.
