National Night Out

Here in Prosper we celebrate National Night Out annually with our community.  We strive to promote police-community relationships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. This is a fun opportunity for neighbors to get to know each other, exchange contact information, enjoy each other’s company, commit tot looking out for one another and welcome public safety personnel to their vicinity. Neighborhoods host block parties where our officers stop by to meet and greet.

National Night Out Block Party Registration

National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. We are asking those that want to participate, gather in their front yards and driveways keeping social distancing in mind. Prosper PD, Prosper ISD PD, Prosper Fire Rescue and First Responder Volunteers will be driving to neighborhoods and streets that want to participate and have “First Responder Parades” with lights and sirens. We will be keeping a distance and waving but not stopping to make contact. We encourage people to make signs or banners, wave to show support or make sidewalk chalk signs. The goal of National Night Out is to heighten awareness of crime prevention, to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships. All residents are encouraged to step outside.
