A lifelong Texan, Charles moved to Prosper in 2014 with his wife, Colleen, to be near their daughter, son-in-law, and their two grandsons. Professionally, he got his start in public accounting where he became a CPA, but now has over 40 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, management, brokerage, and development. Charles is committed to Prosper and has served as a member of the Prosper Charter Review Committee, Prosper Executive Development Team, Prosper Downtown Development Committee, and was most recently Chairman of the Prosper Planning and Zoning Commission. He has served on the Gentle Creek HOA Board of Directors and was instrumental in organizing Gentle Creek along with neighboring residents to successfully work with the Town on road projects affecting neighborhoods. Charles is well-positioned to help Prosper attract and manage future growth opportunities. He currently is President of the Dallas County Utilities and Reclamation District, one the largest municipal utility districts in Texas with over $4 billion in taxable value. Charles also served as a Director and Treasurer of the Las Colinas Association, one of the largest property owners associations in the country with currently over $11 billion in taxable value, for eight years. A Charter Member and head of the Building Committee, Charles was also twice an Elder at Hackberry Creek Church. His hobbies include golf at Gentle Creek, motorcycle trips, spending time with his grandsons, and traveling with Colleen.
