Annual Spring Cleanup Event

The annual Prosper Spring Cleanup is scheduled for March 29 2025, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Prosper Town Hall. During this community event, residents are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to dispose of various items. To enter the event, please be prepared to show your Town of Prosper utility bill and valid driver's license.

Electronic Waste: Republic Services will be on-site to collect a range of electronic items including computers, CRT (cathode ray tube) monitors, televisions, printers, scanners, copiers, radios, CD players, VCRs, and telephones (cellular, cordless, and wireless).

Document Shredding: Protect your privacy by safely disposing of sensitive documents. Shredding paper is a secure method to ensure confidential information does not fall into the wrong hands. Accepted items for shredding include confidential documents, bank statements, old bills, and magazines. Please ensure removal of staples, paper clips, rubber bands, etc., before shredding. Please note, residents are unable to stay and wait for items to be shredded. A maximum of five boxes per person will be accepted.

Bulk Items: Extra trash, household appliances (refrigerators and freezers must be tagged certifying removal of refrigerants), furniture, mattresses and other large or bulk household items will be accepted for disposal.
