  • You can apply for new utility service by filling out the New Utility Service Application form.

  • For your convenience, the Town of Prosper offers the following payment options:

    • Automatic monthly bank draft-this easy, no-cost method will draft your bill monthly from your bank account. Sign up today! 
    • Electronic Bill Pay through your bank-Register for online bill pay through your bank's website. Please contact your bank for information about this service. 
    • Pay your bill online-The Town of Prosper provides a secure and reliable way to pay your utility bill online using our online payment portal. To register, you will need your account number and PIN (located underneath your account number in the upper right-hand corner of your bill). There will be a small convenience fee added to your amount for using this service when using your debit or credit card.
    • Automatic monthly credit card drafts-3% credit card fee. Sign up today! You will need to select Action to Perform and then register for additional options. 
    • Pay by mail-P.O Box 307, Prosper, TX 75078. 
    • In-Person-Pay in person at the Utility Billing office on the first floor of Town Hall, located at 250 W. First St., or place in the drop box located at the northwest corner outside Town Hall

  • Your due date is always on the 10th of the month.  If the 10th lands on a weekend or holiday it is due the next working day.

  • A 10% penalty is added to your bill one day after the due date. To avoid cutoff, you will need to pay by the end of the month. Your water bill can be paid online using the Online Payment Portal, or in person by placing it in the drop box outside Town Hall or at the customer service window inside Town Hall.

  • Water bills are typically sent out between the 16-18 of the month. When able, the Town sends through mail and email. If you do not receive a bill, please contact Utility Customer Service by calling (972) 569-1180 or contact us via email at ucs@prospertx.gov

  • To request a name change on your water bill, you will need to send a copy of your new drivers license, showing the new name, via email to ucs@prospertx.gov

  • You can apply to transfer utility service by filling out the Transfer Utility Service Application

  • You can apply to transfer utility service on a rental property by filling out the Transfer Utility Service on Rental Property form.
