Annexation Request

Purpose

Annexation is the procedure by which a property located in the Extraterritorial Jurisdiction, may be brought into the Town of Prosper.

Annexation requests are approved by Town Council.

All requests are submitted online via the Citizen Self Service (CSS) Portal (Link) and shall be submitted per the development schedule.

Owner Acknowledgment Form (PDF) - For Property owners, you must provide the deed to the property to verify ownership. For Third Party representation, you must provide documentation that you are an authorized signer for your business.
Current Tax Certificate (PDF) or statement showing there are no delinquent taxes
.dwg and .pdf files of all exhibits
A legal description (metes and bound of the property to be annexed title as "Exhibit A" and sealed and signed by a surveyor
Letter of Intent (PDF)
Signed Checklist (PDF)

Fees will be processed once the application is deemed complete. Fees will be invoiced via the Citizen Self Service (CSS) Portal (Link)
