Blue Star Flag Application

In July of 2014, the Prosper Town Council approved a program that presents Blue Star Flags to the families of Prosper's servicemen and women currently deployed overseas. The flag may be presented to the spouse, parent, child, or sibling of active service personnel. The Blue Star Flag is an indoor flag, and is designed to be displayed facing out from the front window of the recipient's residence. The program honors the individuals serving our country, while also acknowledging the sacrifices made by the family members who are left behind. One Blue Star Flag may be presented per serviceman/woman. If you are a Prosper resident, and would like to receive a Blue Star Flag, please complete this application. Blue Star Flags are presented at Prosper Town Council meetings, which take place on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 5:45 pm in the Council Chambers of Prosper Town Hall, located at 250 W First Street in Prosper. Once your application is received, you will be contacted by the Town Secretary's Office to schedule a date to receive your Blue Star Flag.
