In July of 2014, the Prosper Town Council approved the Hometown Heroes program, which provides a way for the Town to welcome home our Prosper service personnel who are returning home from active duty. The program consists of public recognition at a Town Council meeting for the returning serviceman/woman in attendance, a brief description of his or her service, and the presentation of a framed certificate of achievement from the Mayor and Town Council. If you or a family member are returning home from active duty and would like to be recognized as a Hometown Hero, please complete the application below. Hometown Hero presentations take place at Prosper Town Council meetings, which are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 5:45 pm in the Council Chambers of Prosper Town Hall, located at 250 W First Street in Prosper. Once your application is received, you will be contacted by the Executive Director of Community Service, Robyn Battle, to schedule a date to receive your Hometown Hero recognition.
