The Prosper Fire Department and Fire Marshal’s Office created this library for the sole purpose of providing information to our citizens, business owners, contractors and insurance industry with a single goal, to provide the safest community for our citizens.

2021 Town Fire Code

The Town of Prosper has adopted the 2021 International Fire Code (with local amendments). Enforcement of the 2021 IFC began on April 1, 2023, and continues to guide fire safety standards throughout the community. 

The Prosper Fire Marshal's Office conducts all Fire Protection System inspections. To schedule an inspection, please contact our office via email at fire.inspections@prosperfire.com or via phone at 972-346-9469.
